Pop-Up Cottonwood 2026

Pop-Up Cottonwood 2026 will be our longest Pop-Up yet: a five-month seasonal home base near the Verde River in Cottonwood, Arizona, running from November 10 through April 10.

We’ve arranged an affordable private group camping space roughly a 25-minute walk through the woods from downtown Cottonwood (5-10 minute drive), giving us a rare combination of privacy, nature, affordability, and easy access to town. The site includes water, trash disposal, and portable toilets, with a private group space for our small community of nomads to settle in for part or all of the winter season.

Camping at Pop-Up Cottonwood this winter is $11.11 per night.

Like all Pop-Up Nomads spaces, Cottonwood is built around Always invited, never expected. People can work from their rigs, spend time alone, explore the Verde Valley, or join whatever happens to be going on around camp. We’ll likely have shared dinners, game nights, hikes, campfires, disc golf rounds, co-working, and plenty of time around Kitty City, our giant communal network of catio tents and tubes.

You do not need to stay for the full five months. The longer season is meant to create a place people can return to, spend meaningful time in, and gradually build the kind of familiarity that is often hard to find when everyone on the road is constantly moving.
