About This Event
Pop-Up Tucson 2026 was a relaxed two-week stop on private land roughly 30 minutes outside Tucson, Arizona.
The property is one of Jayna's longtime favorite places, hosted by landowners she has known for years. Four campers stayed for nearly the entire Pop-Up, sharing the cost equally at an average of about $10 per night.
The property offered an unusually complete set of amenities including a bathroom, shower, water, trash disposal, recycling, a fireplace, grill, pool, and a small basketball court. Kitty City was set up here as well.
Compared with some of our longer or more event-heavy Pop-Ups, Tucson was intentionally calm. We spent time living and working from camp, met up with people for disc golf, and enjoyed having a comfortable place to land between longer stretches of travel.
The relationship with the hosts is especially valuable because it gives Pop-Up Nomads another trusted place along our winter migration route that we may return to again.
What’s Planned
Disc golf meetups, Kitty City, quiet shared camping, co-working, and everyday time together at the property.

Event Recap
Tucson was a smaller and calmer Pop-Up, with four campers sharing a comfortable private property for nearly the entire two-week stay. The strong amenities, longtime relationship with the hosts, Kitty City, and easy access to Tucson made it another repeatable stop we would be happy to return to during future winter migrations.
